Brother Conrad

Brother Conrad, whose full religious and birth name is unknown, was in his forty-seventh year as a Christian Brother when we were seniors in 1971. He had worked in many schools, including St. Michael's High School, in Santa Fe, New Mexico where he served its principal and the College of Santa Fe, where he headed the Department of Education department. Of greater significance is his leadership as the Provincial of the New Orleans­Santa Fe Province, a position he held for nine years. Brother Conrad received his Bachelors of Arts from Manhattan College in New York, and his Masters of Arts from St. Mary's of San Antonio, Texas. During our final year, he taught Religion and French.
